Kristina - massothérapeute

Welcome !

My name is Kristina, I am a certified massage therapist and member of the Fédération québécoise des massothérapeutes agréés. I have completed my basic training in Swedish massage. I integrate other techniques into my practice such as structural myofascial therapy and lymphatic drainage (Vodder) in order to meet more specific needs.

    My story

I have always been interested in the well-being of others and the human body has always fascinated me. Illnesses affected my parents when I was a teenager, and I quickly discovered the impact it had on their quality of life. I completed my bachelor's degree in nursing with the aim of better understanding desease and helping others to the best of my knowledge.

I decided to become a massage therapist because this profession allows me to better listen to people's needs and offer individualized support. Accompanying people in their quest for well-being (psychological and physical) is very important. Curing an illness is not always possible, nor is the disappearance of stress or anxiety. What can we do to improve our well-being when the negative effects of illness persist or when we feel that anxiety or stress is reducing our ability to enjoy life?

In massage therapy, touch is key and the benefits of massage are widely recognized. My role is to help you regain and maintain balance by adapting my approach to your situation. I have completed training in oncology massage therapy which allows me to offer adapted and safe massage sessions to people with cancer, whether they are in treatment or in remission, to people with a serious, degenerative or life-threatening illnesses as well as anyone with chronic condition (e.g. ALS, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease, etc.).

On June 14, 2025, I will participate in my 3rd "The Myeloma Canada Ride: Bike to Beat Myeloma" as captain of Team Sunshine and on August 16 and 17, 2025, I will participate in my 5th "ALS Quebec Ride" as part of the team Team Time Trial for ALS. I will be donating all tips collected during April and May to Myeloma Canada and those collected during June and July to ALS Quebec to help those affected by these currently incurable diseases and their families. You can support me by donating here.
